Each of us comes to worship as an individual, for our own reasons and from our own “place” in life. As we join together to worship, we come to know that we are not alone. Rather, we share the joys and sorrows of our life journey with one another and with God, in a community of faith. local faith community joins with others across the nation, and throughout the world.
We meet every Sunday for worship at 10.00 a.m. (service time), for approximately one hour. Our Children’s Christian Education Program is held at the same time; all ages spend the first part of the service together; children then leave for age-appropriate programs. Nursery care is also available.
While acknowledging and respecting the importance of continuity and tradition, we also believe that fresh perspectives and changes in familiar routines will create new opportunities to grow in our faith and to experience deeper connections with God. We regularly use a wide variety of approaches, including drama and interactive sermons, to enhance the meaning of worship for individuals with a diverse range of interests and needs. Lay members of the congregation share leadership for worship.
